For this copy-drive advertisement, I chose to advertise the trap, neuter, and return method of controlling the stray cat population. This advertisement gets your attention quickly with the large, contrasting headline text, making it a bold statement for the viewer. This advertisement is geared towards the general population and I wanted this ad to stand out as it is a very core part to the Willo Beach Sanctuary's goals for the organization.
This visual-drive advertisement showcases a success story of a well taken care of community cat with the image of a cat with a clipped ear. Using this imagery, it encourages other like-minded people to trap a stray they have been feeding outside to claim as their own community cat, especially if they have seen them for some time. For this advertisement, I used calmer colors and text as the main focus is really the well-taken care of cat. This ad is designed to push that TNR is a good response to the growing stray cat population and how good a life an outdoor cat could have.
In this last advertisement, I wanted to showcase a very comfortable and sleeping cat in a positive light to the viewer, With this advertisement, I am encouraging animal lovers to volunteer. The idea is to do a good deed for the community and would in return help the volunteer sleep better at night, knowing they have helped and offered their limited free time for others. There are always very friendly stray cats that maybe have been fed by multiple people and once someone decides to bring them in for neutering, sometimes it's a shame to return them if they could be someone's indoor cat. Volunteering or fostering would allow more friendly cats to find loving forever homes. As for text, I wanted a bold "Volunteer" as the headline and simple san-serif for the tagline and reason why.
